10/18/22 – This is an excellent example of a 1943 dated P.38 hardshell holster from WW2. The holster has strong, clean black leather and nice, original stitching throughout. The back leather is maker stamped, dated, waffen proofed, and P.38 stamped. The stamps are all crisp. The back toe of leather has some mild wrinkling, but this is pretty much the full extent of the wear on this example, as the rest of the leather is clean with minimal pliability. Oddly, there’s stitching on the right belt loop (we’re not sure why). Clean interior leather as well.
