5/18/20 – This is an excellent 1941 dated Pigskin luger holster. These are scarce late war production holsters often found with Black Widow lugers. The black leather is made from pig hide, not cow hide, due to lack of supplies later during the war. The leather is strong and clean except for a name written on the interior of the lid. The back leather has a strong maker and date code stamp. Also stamped with a waffen military eagle proof under the maker code, but this is a little harder to see. Excellent all original stitching is still in tact as well.
