12/1/23 – This is an excellent example of a BYF 41 “Black Widow” Mauser Luger issued to the German military in 1941. It is all matching, has the proper “Eagle 135” military acceptance proofs, and fitted with an excellent set of original “Black Widow” bakelite grips. It comes as a rig with two original “Black Widow” magazines, a rare “Eagle 135” marked tool, and an excellent 1941-dated pigskin holster. The gun itself has retained about 96% of its original finish. There is very minor general high edge wear, some muzzle wear, and some light pin-pricking / dulling on the grip straps. Excellent, shiny bore.
