7/28/23 – This is a matching and original Army Mauser Luger from 1939. It’s the far less common variation with S/42 coded toggle. All numbered parts on the gun match, including the original grips. Magazine is a period original mismatch. The bluing rates at around 94% with standard high edge wear on the muzzle, sideplate and right side rail. Beautiful grips with sharp checkering and no chips. Only ~32,000 of this variation were produced, compared to more than 80k with just ’42’ code on toggle.
