3/1/22 – This is an excellent example of a DWM Luger sold in the commercial market in the 1920’s. The gun is all matching and has the proper “Crown N” commercial proofs. It is chambered in .30 Luger and has a “Made in Germany” export proof on the right side of the slide, indicating it was intended for sale in the international commercial market. It has retained about 96% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss comes in the form of splotchy discoloration on the front strap, so the profile views are excellent. There is also very minor muzzle wear, hints of wear on the high edges, and some tiny dots of discoloration along the barrel. Comes with minty un-numbered wood grips and a properly un-numbered magazine. The bore has decent rifling, but there is very minor pin-pricking throughout.
