6/14/23 – This is an excellent example of a DWM Artillery Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1917. All matching with the proper Imperial proofs. There are also British proofs on the upper receiver and on the underside of the barrel, indicating this gun was likely captured and exported by the British. It has retained about 96% of its bluing with areas of minor wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, at the very base of the front strap, and on some of the high edges. Some pin-pricking along the barrel, minor freckling on the grip straps, and an area of dark discoloration on the left side of the frame. Fitted with excellent un-numbered wood grips – a hairline crack on the left side only visible from the inside. Comes with a force-matched magazine. Mint bore.
