4/13/23 – This is an excellent example of a DWM Artillery Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1917. It is all matching and has the proper Imperial proofs. It has retained about 97% of its original finish. There is very minor wear around the muzzle and on some of the high edges. A couple of textured dings in the metal around the chamber. An area of very minor thinning on the left side of the frame. While there is very little actual finish loss, there are areas of light freckling throughout, most noticeable on the grip straps. An area of tiny pits on the right side of the barrel and around the muzzle. Fitted with matching-numbered wood grips – small chip in the upper corner of the left panel. Comes with a period-correct but mismatched magazine. The bore has good rifling, but there is pin-pricking throughout and a few small spots with tiny pits.
