11/8/22 – This is a 14k gold lipstick holder that was reportedly owned by Eva Braun. It comes out of the John Lattimer Collection, a well known collector of these items and author of the book, “Hitler’s Fatal Sickness And Other Secrets Of The Nazi Leaders”. This lipstick holder comes with a copy of this book and is actually pictured and mentioned on pg 64. The holder itself is made of 14k gold, is dated 1936 on the bottom, and has a beautiful and delicate gold chain. The lid of the holder features a prominent engraving of Eva’s well-known “butterfly” insignia. The lipstick holder works as it should and is in excellent condition overall. There is some vertical black inlay around the tube – there are tiny chips in this inlay here and there. It comes in the original red plastic case that the holder was shipped in from Germany with the original label.
