8/6/20 – This is an original WW2 Kreigsmarine dagger with an etched blade. The blade is maker stamped by Eickhorn and etched on both sides. Very clean blade with only a very small peppering of oxidation near the tip and around the area of the maker stamp. The leather stopper is missing, but the pommel and hand guard are excellent with light patina and aging. The handle has one VERY small nick, but there are no cracks or chips. Near excellent overall. The scabbard has no dents or major issues, but there is some dark discoloration in a few areas that suggest that this may have been painted black, and then the paint was removed. Currently all original.
