11/4/22 – This is an excellent condition etched Kriegsmarine dagger with an original portepee and early style hammered scabbard. The dagger features a double-etched blade with a WKC maker stamp on one side of the ricasso. The blade is clean throughout with crisp etching and minimal discoloration. No signs of sharpening either. The red cloth stopper is still intact. Excellent beige handle with tightly wound chord. The portepee has some fraying on the rope, but the knot is in great shape. The scabbard shows aging and patina but no dents or notable flaws.
