3/22/22 – This is an original Kriegsmarine dagger from WW2. The dagger is in great overall condition with an etched blade. The etching is crisp and depicts an anchor and ships. The ricasso is maker stamped on one side. The beige handle is excellent with no cracks or chips. There’s some mild patina on the pommel but no major wear. Attached to the handle is an original silver portepee. The knot is excellent, but the rope has some fraying throughout as shown. The scabbard has two small dents near the toe, and some surface oxidation / discoloration.
