7/27/22 – This is a very cool Walther PP that was custom engraved after the war and covered in gold wash, and is inscribed with ‘AH’ initials in three locations. The pistol was originally produced in 1944 for the German Army as it has WaA359 proofs on slide and frame. After the war, it was professionally engraved and inscribed, presumably in an attempt to create an Adolf Hitler presentation-style piece. The engraving work is very nice with clean lines and nearly complete covered. The grips are WW2 original and there’s a crack in the left panel. The magazine is postwar.
