10/22/21 – This is an early Eickhorn production, later WW1 era Sawback rifle bayonet. The bayonet comes with a scabbard and leather frog, as shown. The blade has minor oxidation spots throughout each side, and some mild signs of sharpening / use. There is an Eickhorn maker marking on one side. The handle has various small chips and “chew” marks on each grip panel. The metal pommel has light patina throughout. The scabbard is unmarked with most of the black painted finish in tact. The scabbard has surface wear throughout and a faint maker stamp on the back.
