3/10/23 – This is a Junior Officer’s Sword from WW2. The sword comes with a leather frog with an OLC maker stamp on the clip and a green / silver portepee. Also comes with a FREE Certificate of Authenticity! (Note the certificate is from 2022 and is slightly worn.) The blade is in great condition with a clean, shiny finish throughout and no signs of sharpening. Maker stamped on one side of the base. The handle has a few small chips in the black bakelite portion, as shown. The metal pommel and hand guard have surface patina but no major issues. The scabbard has no significant dents or issues, but there is typical surface wear and mild finish loss in various areas.
