10/24/17 – This is an original FN Browning Hi-Power pistol with early Nazi occupation proof stamps. The frame and slide have waffen eagle WaA103 military proof stamps – this is an early and scarce waffen proof for Hi-Powers. The pistol also has an early tangent rear sight – a feature that was changed to a fix sight as the war went on. The pistol is in excellent condition, and overall we rate about 94% of the original finish remaining. There is edge wear on the slide, and some thinning/browning on the front and back straps. This is nice “honest” wear though and shows that the pistol saw some use during the war. The gun is fully functional with no mechanical issues, and a nice bore. We rate the bore at 7/10 though due to some patina throughout the rifling. The girps are original and excellent, and the magazine is waffen proofed.
