3/29/23 – This is an original slab-side MP 40 magazine from WW2. The magazine is in great condition with most of the blued finish intact. There’s mild patina on the front and back spines of the magazine, as well as spots of wear on the upper left side and lower right side of the tube. The spine is maker stamped, 1941 dated, and waffen proof stamped. The front spine shows a light wrinkling that looks like it could be a crack in the metal, but this is a surface scratch (shown in last photo). The spring is strong and functional.
