8/14/17 – This is a rare and early waffen PPK, with E/359 proof on frame and slide rather than the more common WaA359. It is a vet bringback that was brought to us by the vet’s children. There were only 3,500 of this variation produced, with high-polish blue and Eagle/N proofs. Bluing rates at 92-93% with some muzzle wear and a notable area of finish loss on the right side of the slide. Excellent grip with no cracks or chips. Correct magazine. Common theory on these guns is that all of the early waffen PPK’s were issued to the Luftwaffe. Very nice bore with no major flaws.
