6/2/18 – This is an early, pre WW2 production nazi RZM SA Dagger. The dagger is worn, but early and all original. One can tell by observing the maker stamp on the blade that this was one of the early production RZM SA daggers. The blade has early font and M7/13 maker code (Arthur Schuttelhofer & Co., Solingen-Wald). This code was granted in 1938 and the lower code number means this was one of the first producers for the nazi political party. The blade condition is worn with dark spotty patina on each side. The nickle fittings have oxidation throughout, but no rust is present. The wood handle is in excellent condition. The scabbard has some wear on the brown painted area and some spots of paint have been scratched/chipped off. The nickle point to the scabbard has a dent and is slightly bent upwards. The leather hanger and clip are unmarked but show signs of aging and use. Guaranteed original and authentic.
