11/5/21 – This is a very nice example of an early Mauser HSC issued to the Nazi military in 1941. It is all matching and has early features such as the “Eagle 655” Nazi military acceptance proof and early high polish finish. It has retained about 92-93% of its original bluing. Most of the finish loss is spotty wear around the muzzle and an area of spotty wear on the right side of the slide. There is also very minor wear on the high edges of the slide and one small spot of wear on the front grip strap. There is an area with tiny dots of discoloration on the top of the slide. Some minor freckling on the back strap. Comes with excellent period-correct grips and a half-moon magazine. The bore is mint.
