11/3/20 – This is an original Nambu Type 14 rig, issued to the Japanese military in 1929. The gun is all matching and comes with one matching magazine. The gun has retained about 95% of its original finish. There is bluing loss around the muzzle and some of the high edges. The barrel is spotty and there is freckling throughout. There is freckling here and there on the rest of the gun as well. Very minor pitting and patina on the straps. The bore has decent rifling, but there is minor pitting in the grooves. The rig comes with an original holster. A small piece of leather on the closure strap is missing and the name “Sgt Knight” is scratched on the inside of the holster. NOTE: The lanyard in the photo is not included.
