04/23/2024 – For sale is an early Type 38 rifle made at the Koishikawa Arsenal. This rifle is in great condition for surviving the jungle and still retains a lot of its original bluing. The receiver retains the original Imperial Chrysanthemum which was commonly ground or defaced. The rifle has a majority of matching Assembly numbers (not by Serial numbers) and the floor plate is mismatched by 38. The wood furniture is clean and in good shape. The bore is in good shape with good rifling and is somewhat bright. The rifle comes with a Type 30 Bayonet with frog and scabbard.
