6/15/17 – This is a minty M1 Carbine produced by Inland for use by the American army during WW2. The serial dates this rifle to 1942, though it has an 8-43 dated barrel. The handguard and stock cut are both ‘IO’ marked. The right side of the rifle has a proper crossed cannons cartouche, and the wrist has the P in circle proof. The finish on the barrel and receiver is nearly flawless. Period correct sling. ‘IU’ marked magazine. Minty bore.
