8/20/24 – This is an early, first edition Colt Detective Special Revolver, manufactured in 1940 and chambered in .38 Special. It is matching and has retained roughly 65% of its high polish bluing. There is noticeable wear and discoloration at the back half of the frame and on the grip straps. Fitted with slightly worn hand-checkered Walnut grips. Excellent, shiny bore.
