3/13/19 – This is an original pre WW2 commercial Walther PP pistol. The serial number puts the date of production around 1930 / 31 . The pistol has early features like a 90 degree safety, reversed serial numbering, covered firing pin, large ring hammer and early high polish finish. The grips are also the early weighted variation. The overall finish is about 96% with high edge wear and minor speckling on the right side of the slide. The straps are especially nice for the age of the gun. The bore rates about 8.5/10 with strong rifling and minor amounts of corrosion. Comes with an excellent banner only magazine. Original and fully functional, however the trigger pull is about as far back as it can go when the hammer is cocked. Excellent example of a very early Walther PP at a very reasonable price.
