10/3/23 – This is a fantastic example of a very early and desirable Colt SP1 that predates the Vietnam War. Dates to 1965, and is all original with 98-99% finish remaining. Barrel is ‘M’ marked, and the early barrel is marked ’12’ on underside, indicating it has the 1×12 inch twist. Three prong flash hider is present, as is bayonet lug. Early triangular handguards and early style buttstock, with no provisions for internal storage. Excellent bore and C&R eligible.
