6/14/22 – This is a nice example of an early AC 41 Walther P.38 issued to the Nazi military in 1941. “ac” marked on the trigger guard. It is all matching and has the proper “Eagle 359” military acceptance proofs throughout, even on the small parts. It comes as a rig with a fairly worn 1941-dated hard shell holster and two magazines. One of the mags is numbered (but not matching), and the other is not numbered but “Eagle 359” proofed. The gun itself has retained roughly 85% of its original high polish finish. There are areas of somewhat spotty wear along both sides of the slide (concentrated mostly around the high edges), around the muzzle, on the barrel, and on the top plate. Some tiny dots of oxidation here and there along the slide, around the muzzle, and on the top plate. Comes with excellent matching-numbered grips. Excellent bore with strong rifling. De-cocker is functional.
