06/17/2024 – For sale is a Springfield M1 Garand produced in February of 1942. The rifle is in great condition overall with only a slight oxidation on the receiver on the left side and some handling marks on the stock. The rest of the rifle has a nice even parkerized finish. The stock is also in good condition and free of any cracks or breaks. The rifle was rebuilt after the war and has a December of 1947 barrel installed. The bore is bright but gets darker towards the muzzle. The muzzle erosion rate a 2 while the throat erosion rate at 4. The parts drawing number breakdown is attached in the photos. The rifle comes with a tan canvas sling.
