5/17/23 – This is a nice example of an early Erfurt Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1911. All matching except the barrel, which is a 5.5″ replacement. Imperial military and Erfurt proofs throughout. It has the proper early features such as no stock lug and originally had no hold-open – one has since been added. There is a military regimental marking on the front strap. The gun has retained about 93% of its bluing. The majority of the wear is on the side plate, but there is also minor wear on the high edges. Minor freckling on both grip straps. Fitted with matching-numbered and Imperial-proofed grips – small chip in the upper corner of the left panel. Comes with a period-correct but mismatched Erfurt magazine. The bore is near-mint.
