6/22/23 – This is a very nice example of an early DWM Luger issued to the Imperial German military in 1910. It is all matching and has the proper Imperial military proofs. It also has the appropriate early features, such as no stock lug on the back strap and no hold-open. There is a “120.R.11.1.” military unit marking on the front strap. The gun has retained about 93-94% of its original finish with minor wear around the muzzle, on the side plate, and on the side rails. While there isn’t a lot of actual finish loss, there is spotty oxidation on the grip straps. Fitted with matching-numbered wood grips and comes with a period-correct but mismatched magazine. The bore has good rifling with very light pin-pricking throughout.
