5/3/24 – This is an original WW2 wartime production Mauser Luger tool. The tool is stamped on the front metal with an eagle 655 military proof stamp. This proof corresponds mostly to Mauser Lugers made from 1940-1942, and is often found paired with Black Widow Luger examples, making this a very desirable variation. This example has a crisp, strongly struck stamp, but there is some dark discoloration and natural patina throughout. There are spots of pitting and surface deterioration on both sides of the tool. Still a 100% original example.
