5/25/23 – This is a nice example of a DWM Model 1906 Navy Luger issued to the Imperial German Navy during WW1. It is all matching and has the proper “Crown M” Navy proofs. There is a “II TD 453” Navy unit marking on the back strap. Altered safety. The gun has retained roughly 90% of its original finish. There is general high edge wear and wear around the muzzle. Dulling and pin-pricking on the grip straps, especially on the front strap. Spotty oxidation and small spots of discoloration and pitting along the barrel and on the front strap where it meets the trigger guard. Comes with an un-numbered Navy-style magazine. The rifling in the bore is a bit worn with pin-pricking throughout.
