7/23/24 – This is an excellent Model 1906 Model DWM American Eagle Luger with rare Ideal grips for the Ideal stock / holster combo. This one does not come with the holster and stock, just the grips. The Ideal Holster Company applied for the patent on their grip and stock/holster in 1901, and the design uses a set of special grip panels with metal locking surfaces in them in conjunction with some very clever angular geometry to allow the stock to be easily attached and detached when in the short position, but lock tight and secure when the stock is extended to shooting length. The gun is all matching and has retained about 95-96% with minor high edge and muzzle wear. Mint bore. The grips are not numbered. Comes with a mismatched magazine. The hold-open does not work properly with this magazine.
