12/30/21 – This is an excellent example of a Dreyse Model 1907 sold in the commercial market in the early 1900’s. It is all matching and has the proper “Crown N” commercial proofs. There is a “Germany” export marking on the left side of the slide, indicating it was intended for sale in the international commercial market. It has retained about 97% of its original finish. Most of the finish loss is spotty discoloration on the right side of the slide and underside of the frame. A few small pits around the muzzle. While there isn’t much actual finish loss, there are tiny dots of oxidation and freckling throughout. Very light brown patina on the grip straps. Comes with excellent period-correct grips and one proper magazine. The bore has good rifling with minor pin-pricking here and there.
