2/9/23 – This is a very rare and unique offer of an original SS Dagger from WW2 with supplemental documentation regarding the German SS Officer who was issued this dagger. The documentation includes a letter from the Military Research Service where they indicate discovering the identity of the original owner of the SS Dagger bearing the number 34513. We have the German soldier’s rank, membership number, SS number, NSDAP membership file card, photos, and all major files related to this man from the National Archives in College Park, Maryland. There are 6 total packets of information, 4 of which are “race and settlement reports”. The dagger is in great condition with some mild surface speckling and typical rub wear and surface scratches from the scabbard. Maker stamped on one side. There’s visible cross-graining on each side of the blade, and no signs of sharpening. The handle has no cracks or chips, but there is some mild flaking at the base of the handle, and a few typical dents and bruises. The crossguard is serial numbered “34513” on the underside, and Roman numeral “I” stamped for the district of Munich. The metal fittings are nickel and in great condition. Comes with an anodized scabbard and original leather hanger.
