06/11/2024 – For sale is a documented Springfield 1903 Sporter Model made in 1930. This rifle is a commercial variant of the Model 1903 rifle made in the 1920s into the 30s. he rifle is in fantastic condition overall. The metal parts of this rifle retain an excellent deep bluing throughout. The stock is also in gorgeous condition with barely any handling marks. The bore is very bright with great rifling. The rifle has a Lyman diopter rear sight installed from Springfield. This rifle comes with a document from the Springfield Research Service and this rifle was purchased by Bernard M. Snyder from Hudson New York in 1930.
