10/7/20 – This is a scarce and desirable Steyr K98 that was SS issued as indicated by the single rune on the receiver. It was made in 1943 and has ‘bnz’ factory code on it. The original finish shows some thinning throughout, especially on the front band and trigger group. All numbers are matching, but the front band may have been renumbered to match. The stock is unmarked and in good condition aside from some surface splitting developing on each side of the bolt. Bore is shiny with strong rifling but some frost throughout. Comes with an original sight hood and cleaning rod.
