6/16/23 – This is a nice example of a Czech Vz 24 bolt action rifle manufactured in the 1930’s. The gun is mismatched but has Czech proofs throughout. Import mark on the right side of the barrel. This particular example is in a sniper configuration, fitted with sniper scope mounts (numbered but not matching). The metal parts have retained roughly half of their bluing. Most of the parts have spotty, somewhat scratchy wear, and there is noticeable thinning on the whole barrel. There is no major damage to the wood furniture, but it shows obvious signs of wear and use. The bore has decent rifling, but there is noticeable oxidation in the grooves.
