3/30/18 – This is an original CYQ P.38 Rig from late WW2. The serial number puts it in September 1944 production. The pistol has rough machining marks on the slide – an iconic sign of late war production. The pistol is in great conditoin overall and mechically sound as well as fully functional. The action is smooth and decocker functions properly. The finish on the pistol overall is about 96% with most of the wear appearing on the front strap. There’s also some light edge wear on the muzzle and slide. The bore is excellent with strong rifling and minimal patina. Guaranteed all original. Comes with a 1942 dated holster in good condition, but the back belt loops have been restitched. The stitching looks like a WW2 era field replacement. Missing the lift strap as well. Comes with a spare period correct magazine as well.
