11/20/23 – This is an original pair of late WW2 production German Dienstglas 10×50 binoculars. The binoculars come with an original leather shoulder strap, original 1944 dated leather case, and leather case strap. The optics are clean and clear with a visible reticle in the right eye optic. Both eyes have clean, clear optics and functional adjustment knobs. The middle bridge size adjustment is functional as well although slightly stiff with age. There’s minimal surface wear and some light patina / natural aging throughout but no major issues. The case is excellent with a waffen proof, date, and maker stamp. Although this example is not Kriegsmarine marked, these were often used by the German navy during WW2.
