9/30/20 – This is a beautifully engraved and custom embellished Smith & Wesson K Frame revolver from the late 1940s. The right side features a stag, and left side has a bird (maybe a turkey?). The grips are sterling silver with more custom engraving work. The work done is clearly very high quality, but we don’t have much more information or history on this piece. Any additional info would be welcomed. The condition is fantastic with just a bit of muzzle wear. Timing and lockup is good but the cylinder does get slightly “stuck” every so often when you open it up. The bore is clean but the rifling is slightly smoothed down.
