9/18/19 – This is an all original and complete Inglis Hi Power (MK I*) rig. The pistol was made in 1944 by the Canadians and is all original as well as fully functional. The pistol comes with two magazines, a canvas holster, and the shoulder stock / wood holster. The holster and wood stock are both 1944 dated. The pistol has excellent bluing but there’s oxidation throughout the pistol. The pistol also has “CH” in the serial number, which means this was originally manufactured as part of the Chinese contract with the Canadians during 1944. The Chinese only took delivery on a few thousand of the ~66,000 produced with “CH” in the serial. The pistol ultimately is British proofed and stamped “MK I*” which means this was sent to the British forces after production, towards the end of WW2. The bore has excellent rifling and minimal use wear. An all original, fairly scarce complete rig.
