6/18/24 – This is a very cool, matching set of the Auto Ordnance WW2 Commemorative Firearms offering issued in conjunction with the American Historical Society. This four-gun set has matching serial numbers between each firearm, gun #296 in the set. This set was bought new by our consignor and he never fired any of them. They are all in mint condition, and come with all of the original display cases and paperwork/literature. The Garand is a Springfield production, Iver Johnson made the M1 carbine, and Auto Ordnance produced the 1911A1 and Thompson. It appears only 500 of these sets were made and it’s very difficult to find a matching set, especially in unfired condition.
