7/24/24 – This is a nice example of a scarce Walther Mod HP sold in the commercial market in the 1940’s. It is matching but has an import mark on the left side of the frame and a West Germany export mark on the right side of the frame. There is also an “Eagle BH” marking on the frame, indicating this gun ended up with the Austrian military after the war. It comes as a rig with a 1941-dated hard shell holster and one post-war magazine. The belt loop on the holster is modified. The entire gun has been refinished with almost no bluing loss. Fitted with WW2-era reddish bakelite grips. Mint bore. De-cocker is functional.
