7/19/22 – This is an excellent example of a Walther Mod HP sold in the commercial market in about 1940. The gun is entirely mismatched, has the proper “Eagle N” commercial proofs, and has retained about 94-95% of its original high polish finish. Slight plumb color to the bluing. Generally, there is minor wear around the high edges, light scratchy wear along the right side of the slide, and very minor thinning on the front strap. There are some tiny scratches along the barrel as well. Comes with a set of excellent post-war wood grips and an un-marked magazine. Minty bore. The de-cocker works sporadically.
