5/22/23 – This is a nice example of an FN Browning Model 1922 sold in the commercial market during WW2. It is all matching, lacks military proofs, and has “Eagle N” commercial proofs. It comes as a rig with one proper magazine and a rare Ersatz paper holster (missing its closure strap). The gun itself has retained about 92% of its finish. There is thinning on the front strap and wear around the muzzle, on the tang, and on the high edges of the slide. Some light freckling on the front strap and a few spots of surface oxidation. Fitted with nice period-correct wood grips. Stone-mint bore.
