1/25/22 – This is a nice example of a Colt Government Model 1911 sold in the commercial market in 1922. The gun is all correct except for the barrel, which is a post-war Colt barrel. It has retained roughly 70% of its bluing. Most of the finish loss is on the grip straps and on the top of the slide. There is also wear on the high edges in general and around the muzzle. Tiny dots of oxidation generally in the areas of wear. Some light surface scratches here and there, most noticeable on both sides of the slide. Comes with nice wood grips and a proper two-tone magazine. The bore is near-mint.
