2/22/22 – This is a nice example of a Colt Single Action Army Revolver, manufactured in 1904. The gun is all matching. The cylinder is tight, and the action is very smooth. It has retained roughly 30% of its original finish. Most of the remaining bluing is on the cylinder and barrel, but the finish is worn throughout. There is some original case-hardening left of the hammer where there is also some spotty freckling. Light brown patina on the grip straps and spotty oxidation along the barrel. Minor wear on the high edges of the cylinder and a light roll mark. Spotty wear on the whole frame. Comes with excellent black hard rubber Colt grips. The bore has strong rifling with dots of oxidation here and there.
