8/23/21 – This is an original Colt Official Police revolver that was sent to the U.S. Military during World War II. It comes with the Colt archive letter confirming it was shipped to Springfield Armory as part of a government order in November of 1942. The pistol is all original with maybe 80% of the blue remaining. Majority of the wear is on the grip frame, but also some bluing loss around the muzzle, and some notable pitting/surface rust on the cylinder. Minty bore and excellent grips. Also comes with a U.S. marked holster which is 1943 dated and maybe by Craighead.
