6/19/24 – This is a nice example of a Colt Model 1911 manufactured in 1919. It has a Colt “HP” barrel. We believe the “United States Property” and serial number on the frame have been re-applied for some reason. The finish rates roughly 40% with obvious wear throughout and some surface scratches on the slide. Fitted with wood grips and comes with a period-correct two-tone magazine. The bore has great rifling with very light pin-pricking throughout.
