8/21/23 – This is an original Colt Model 1903 that was produced in 1921. Nice profile with most of the bluing loss on the rear edge of the slide, or near the muzzle. There’s also a little more near the serrations on the right side. The grip frame doesn’t have much bluing loss, but there is some oxidation on the sides, and the straps show some browning throughout. Strong, shiny bore. Excellent, original grips. Correct two-tone magazine. Comes with Colt archive letter, that states the pistol was shipped to Bronson and Townsend Company in Connecticut in May of 1921.
